A Multi-Generation Approach
to Family Success
Generations is a community-based, family centric approach designed to support the needs of both the caregiver and child by integrating support to move the whole family forward. Case managers aim to identify generational barriers impacting families and coach long term life skill building utilizing child-focused services and parent-led goals.
How Generations Works
The O’Connell Generations program connects families with services including employment resources, mental and physical health support, housing stabilization, clothing and food assistance, education needs and connection to community networks. Generations work meets a family where they are at with dignity and respect.
Who We Serve
Generations supports whole families facing poverty, housing insecurity, and financial strain, providing paths to stability and opportunities that benefit the entire family unit.
How We Help
Families are paired with a dedicated case manager for 24/7 coaching to overcome barriers such as employment, mental and physical health, education, housing and a lack of connection to community.
The Impact
Generations reduces siloing and creates connections for families to their communities as well as each other. It strengthens families by breaking cycles of instability and helping caregivers achieve lasting independence and a legacy of economic well-being.

Collaboration Strengthens Families
Close collaboration between OCS and community partners - by working with schools, healthcare providers, and local agencies - makes for a seamless network of support. This collaborative model creates connections, prevents duplication of services, and builds long-term sustainability for the families impacted.
